I’ve been having better days lately. The reason why I have been having better days is because I’m just not giving a fuck about certain things. I mean… I do care about everything that happens around me but if I can’t change it… Why stress over it? If I can change it … why stress over it?
I mean I know that in some aspects I could have done a lot better. Most of the mistakes I’ve made is not because I’m dumb… it’s just because I’m stupid.
Haha… I don’t think I’m making any sense.
Anyhow, the quote up there reminds me a lot of Michael. There are many things that I wanted in my life. Some were realistic goals and other not so realistic. The thing is that everything you plan in your life, you plan hoping that nothing would ever change. Things in my life changed and so did my plans. BIG DEAL! I mean I’m so happy right now, is like nothing can touch me.
I’m not sure if I gave the quote the right meaning, but it’s ok. We give our own personal meaning to everything we read. To me the quote means that something is not always like it seems. Something can appear to be so wrong, or right for that matter, but all that matters is the reason why you do those things. All that matters is the “underlying spirit”, the meaning of it, the reason why you do them. Sometimes you have to look beneath the surface. We just need to look at everything “it stands for”.
So my baby, no worries- where I am is exactly where I want to be. Ten years from now there will be absolutely NO REGRETS. I know that deep down this is what you fear.
